Craig is a London based designer and an illustrator who is amazing with type. On his online presence wordsarepictures you can see his latest designs created by words. He truly believes in creating images out of words. Some of his latest achievements are certificate of typographic excellence in 2009 at Type Director’s Club TDC and in 2008 he got ADC Young Gun at Art Director’s Club, New York. He has portrayed his work in various books and exhibitions. His work pulled clients like The New York Times, BMW, Ebay, The Economist, LloydsTSB and many others.

Nice pieces you have. I wanted to be a graphic designer but do not have a knowledge to anything about designing principles(etc.) Where should I start? I don’t have money to go to school.
