Joe Fenton is an illustrator from Brooklyn, NY. He studied sculpting at the Wimbledon School of Art and moved on for few years in the film industry for directors such as Terry Gilliam and for companies such as Disney and Miramax as a film concept designer. After that he shifted to New York where he received his first publishing contract with Simon & Schuster for my children’s book as an illustrator. He recently won the best artist of North West Region for the Russell Simmon’s Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series. He’s is extremely talented and thrives for more creative projects. I stumbled across this work on TrendsNow website. Having studied design at Pratt and seeing that this work was created in Brooklyn, I had to investigate further.
I really enjoy studying Joe’s work. I see strong influences of one of my two favorites…Hieronymos Bosch. Kind of a modern version of Bosch’s work. Love it!!!
